Start with demo content

LifeTrax includes sample moments, goals, and places so you can explore Today, Health, Insights, Goals, Calendar, and Places immediately. Add a new moment with the plus button and edit or remove sample items whenever you are ready.

Data does not appear on another device

LifeTrax currently stores its timeline separately on each iPhone or iPad and does not sync timeline data between devices. A fresh installation receives its own demo content. Records created on one device will not automatically appear on another.

Apple Health

Open Health or Connected Sources and choose Apple Health. LifeTrax requests read access only to the health types shown in the permission sheet. Available metrics depend on your device, Apple Health records, and the permissions you grant. You can change access in the Health app or system Settings.

Fitbit connection

The optional Fitbit connection is intended for users who configure a Fitbit developer application. LifeTrax opens Fitbit for authorization and reads the profile, activity, sleep, heart-rate, and weight scopes you approve. You can disconnect from Connected Sources and revoke LifeTrax in your Fitbit account settings.

Calendar and reminders

LifeTrax requests Calendar access only when you use calendar features and notification access only when you enable reminders. If a planned item does not appear, confirm the selected calendar is available and that LifeTrax has the needed permission in system Settings.

Places and maps

Location is optional and used to attach a place to a moment you choose to save. The Places view uses Apple Maps to display saved coordinates. If a location is missing, check Location Services for LifeTrax and try saving the moment again while the app is open.

Screen Time

Screen Time reports require Apple’s Family Controls authorization. Apple controls the permission sheet and the data available to the report. If a report is blank, reconnect Screen Time, confirm authorization in Settings, and allow the report a moment to load.

Photos and appearance

Use Controls to choose an accent, background, typography, and text size. Photos selected for a background or saved place remain in LifeTrax’s local app storage. If a selected image is unavailable, choose it again from the system photo picker.

Remove local data

Delete individual moments and goals inside LifeTrax. Deleting the app removes its local timeline, preferences, cached Fitbit summary, and selected media from that device. Apple Health, Calendar, Fitbit, Photos, and Screen Time retain their own source data and permissions.
